A single source of unique content relating to data-driven marketing & advertising information, trends, news and insights both locally and globally.  Subjects include Loyalty and Customer Retention, Data & Privacy, Online and mobile, email and SMS, Multi-Channel, Digital and Analytics.

Compliance Hub

A compliance resource centre for marketers, advertisers and regulatory professionals who want to access real-time and up-to-date information.  The Hub delivers advice, in the form of videos, whitepapers, FAQs.  It also contains government guidelines on Data and Privacy, Competitions, Claims and IP, Lotteries and Prize Draws, email, SMS & Spam, Social Media, Voice Marketing, Mail Marketing and Charities.

Regulatory & Compliance Assistance

IDMA plays a key role in the development and promotion of regulatory guidelines to assist marketers in complying with legislation.  Members have free access to our expert panels in relation to their DM, privacy and regulatory affairs concerns.

Education and Events

IDMA offers members an array of industry-relevant events, seminars and courses throughout the year. All IDMA events host a high calibre of international and local speakers who share their stories and experiences within the industry.  The slides, podcasts and videos from our own training sessions are available to all members.

Most of our own events are now free to members and many industry events are discounted.


Mailing Preference Service is an online register which allows consumers remove their name and home addresses in Ireland from Direct Mailing lists used by the industry.  The MPS Consumer file is a list of names and addresses of consumers who have told us they wish to limit the amount of information they receive.  The user of the Consumer File by marketing professionals is required by Advertising Standards Authority and a condition under the Code of Practice of IDMA.  Members are sent updated lists each month which is a free service with Membership.
