


Kathy Clarke, Clarke Consulting - Chairperson
A marketing and business expert with over 25 years experience in the Irish and International Consumer and B2B markets. Qualifications include communications and media, IDM diploma and an MBA in International Business. Kathy heads up Clarke Consulting Group, an experienced independent business and marketing consultancy specialising in strategic advice, cost savings and marketing efficiency.
Previously she has held the position of marketing manager with ShopDirect Ireland, responsible for five leading Irish mail order brands, Customer Contact and Business Development Manager with ntl (now upc) and Client Services Manager with Glaxo SmithKline leading the European operation in Ireland. Kathy also lectures e-marketing in the Graduate Business School, Griffith College Dublin and Sarajevo.

Bill Moss, Bill Moss Partnership
Bill studied at the University of Notre Dame (BA). He managed the marketing services department of Dun & Bradstreet between the years of 1978-1992. He was also the founding member and past Chairman of the Irish Direct Marketing Association. The Bill Moss Partnership was established in 1992 where Bill is the Managing Director. The company, which specialise in list compilation and list broking for business to business, business to consumers, and investors, domestic and international, are members of the MII, ASAI, IDMA and UK Direct Marketing Association.

Brian O’Kennedy, Clearstream Solutions
Brian has over 15 years experience in international sales and marketing roles. In June of 2009, Brian set up Clearstream Solutions, an Irish Environmental services company focused on bringing global best practice in carbon management to Ireland. For the previous three years, he was Managing Director of DC Kavanagh, one of Ireland’s largest independent commercial printing and mailing companies. Prior to this, Brian worked for 10 years as Global Sales and Marketing VP at Arvato Sonopress, a subsidiary of the global media group, Bertelsmann. From its 18 sites around the world, Arvato Sonopress provides global supply chain solutions to the world’s leading media and publishing companies. While at Arvato, Brian spent 4 years in the US, where he managed global relationships with key IT, Software and Games customers.
Brian also previously worked for the IDA and Clondalkin group’s Irish subsidiary, Cahill Printers. He has a degree in Economics from Trinity College Dublin and has been an active member of the IDMA board for almost three years.
David Connor, eightytwenty/4D
David is a member of the digital committee and has recently joined the board of the IDMA. He is also a member of the Digital Steering Committee at IAPI. Having co-founded Pareto 3D and digital content agency Sector7, David launched eightytwenty/interactive over 5 years ago which has built a reputation as being one of Ireland's most innovative digital shops. eightytwenty has gone on to become the first Irish agency to join a global digital group after joining the Havas Worldwide 4D network in March 2011. David has been behind some of the most ground breaking work in Ireland for brands such as Bank of Ireland, Toyota, Lynx, Nokia, and Meteor to name but a few. His interest is firmly based in understanding consumer behaviour and latest trends.
John Canacott, Publicis D and Publicis D Healthcare
John has over 25 years experience in the Sales and marketing communications industry. A known specialist in the telecoms, media and financial services sectors, John also developed Publicis D’s integrated sales and marketing services model and leads a team of 30 client service/creatve staff in one of Ireland’s largest agencies. His experience and expertise is particularly evident in the development of customer acquisition and retention strategies for Publicis D clients. John is a Graduate Member of the MII, holds an MBA from Durham University Business School and was Formally MD of Pentagon (a company he set up) for 10 years and then MD of Irish International Proximity.
John is currently working on a Doctorate with the Durham University Business School on 'Total IMC Integration - involving all aspects of performance and structural integration'. An avid fan of all sports and as a keen runner John has completed a number of marathons across Europe.

Karen Kavanagh, Neopost Ireland
Karen is the Marketing Director at Neopost Ireland and has 10 years’ marketing experience with a specialist skill in Marketing Communications. Karen holds the responsibility of managing the CRM function, product marketing, brand strategy and acquisition program. With a Diploma in Marketing Management and having completed IMI’s mini MBA programme, Karen has worked with many brands including Sage Ireland and Swiftcall Telecommunications. Previously on the judging panel of the An Post Direct Marketing Awards, Karen is a previous Gold and Bronze Direct Marketing Award winner and won the Marketing Communications award from DIT.
Gary McLoughlin, Dialogue
Gary is Deputy Managing Director of Dialogue. He has been working in Advertising and Marketing for the past 13 years. Gary has extensive through the line communications experience, joining Dialogue from CawleyNea/TBWA where he held the position of Client Service Director. Gary has worked on award winning campaigns for many blue chip domestic and international clients. A Marketing Graduate and Advertising Post Graduate of Dublin Institute of Technology, Gary holds a Graduateship from the Marketing Institute, a Management Degree from Trinity College Dublin and a Digital Marketing Diploma from the Digital Marketing Institute. A massive sports fan, Gary has represented and captained Leinster Rugby at under age levels and recently completed the Maratona Dles Dolomites cycle in Italy.

Mick Cummins, Secretary & Treasurer IDMA
Since his retirement from An Post in 1995, Mick has acted as IDMA's Accountant and Financial Controller.
Su Duff, Client Services Manager
As Client Services Manager Su Duff is developing and rolling out a range of increased benefits for IDMA members.
Previously Su worked as Director of the Outdoor Media Association (OMA) for 5 years, as Commercial Manager for JCDecaux Ireland and during 7 years as Retail Buyer with Penneys Primark in Ireland and The Foschini Group in South Africa.
